Athlete's Supporters

4

QEW Ultra is a sporting and cultural festival that brings people from different athletic abilities, genders, backgrounds together in a country where diversity is hard to miss.

Every single year we have seen more supporters than runners showing up to the race from 5 in the morning and staying until the end of the very long and tough day. Supporters also participate in creating such a vibrant atmosphere that has a very positive impact on runners.

So supporters are both welcome and encouraged to show up and support athletes throughout the race keeping in mind the following rules to ensure safety equality between runners:

  • Supporters are allowed to hand runners food and drinks during the race
  • Support vehicles MUST NOT be in front of the runner at ANY point of the race
  • Runners are not allowed to be in physical contact with the support vehicles. This includes but is not limited to being in or on the car
  • Vehicles supporting athletes should not interrupt traffic at any point of the race
