Ramadan Gift: Don’t forget to collect yours!
Prayer Area: Available for Isha/Taraweeh before the race.
Race starts at 8:00 PM sharp!
Race Rules:
Format: A 2-hour challenge where runners complete as many 2 km loops as possible. (Note: The course has been shortened for logistical reasons.)
Categories: Solo Racers & Teams of 3 (Relay).
Timing: Gun-start – the race starts for everyone when the 2-hour countdown begins.
At the 2-hour mark, the race stops, but any runner already on the course may complete their final loop.
Any loop started before the 2-hour mark must be completed to count.
Winner: The runner/team with the most loops wins. In case of a tie, the one finishing their last loop first is ranked higher.
Team Relay Rules:
Each team consists of 3 runners.
Only one runner is allowed on the course at a time.
Teams can rotate runners after finishing any lap, but exchanges must happen in the designated relay zone near the start/finish line.
A runner may complete multiple consecutive loops before switching.
To switch, the incoming runner must hand over the team’s ankle timing chip before the next teammate starts.
Disqualification: If a runner starts a loop without properly receiving the timing chip.
Course Information:
Terrain: Mostly flat with some off-road sections – trail-specific running shoes are not required.
Hydration: Two water stations will be available on the course.
Night Race – Mandatory Headlamp:
● All runners must wear a headlamp for visibility.
● A limited number of headlamps will be available for purchase at the race village (cash only).
Safety Reminders:
The course will have reflective markers & directional signs, but visibility is still reduced at night.
Be extra cautious at turns and uneven surfaces to avoid tripping.
Stay alert for other runners, especially when overtaking or being overtaken.
If you feel disoriented or unwell, stop at the nearest aid station or alert a race marshal.
Scoring & Ranking:
Solo Category: Ranked by total completed loops.
Team Category: Ranked by total team loops.
Tiebreaker: If two runners/teams complete the same number of loops, the one finishing their last loop first is ranked higher.
Cold Weather Precautions:
● Temperatures may drop at night – dress in warm yet breathable layers.
● Bring warm clothing for after the race, as body temperature drops quickly once you stop running.
● Hot drinks will be available for purchase at the race village.
Safety & Medical Support:
● Medical team on standby throughout the race. If you or another runner needs help, inform a race official.
● Stay hydrated and refuel properly at aid stations.
● If you drop out, inform race officials so we can account for all runners.
