To receive their timing chips, runners should hand in their Qatari ID or 500 Riyals that they will receive back after the race.

Timing chips must be placed firmly on your ankle throughout the whole race.

Timing chips must be returned to the registration team after the race ends.

Losing your timing ship will result on not having official race results.

Course:

Adults race is on a 2.6km loop.

Kids course is 800m.

Kids 1 (7-9) will be doing 2 laps.

Kids 2 (10-13) and Juniors (14-15) will be doing 3 laps.

Terrain varies between dirt and paved roads.

2 water stations are provided along the course.

Course marshals will guide the runners through the course.

Race Format:

Individual runners:

Individual runners are given 2 hours to try to cover as much distance as possible over a 2.6km loop.

At the end of the 2 hours, all athletes still on the course can continue running until they reach the finish line.

Rely Teams:

Each team receives ONE timing chip at registration.

The team runner running on the course must have the timing chip attached to their ankle.

Team relay area will be located near the race start line.

When they arrive to the team relay zone, runners can then hand the timing chip to the runner doing the next lap.

Which means teams get a chance to change runners every 2.6km.

It’s entirely up to the team to decide how many laps each team runner is going to do.

Team runners can relay only at the designated relay area.

At the end of the 2 hours, all athletes still on the course can continue running until they reach the finish line.
