HSBC Charity Run

Time: Race start at 07:00 AM
Location: Al Bidda Park, Doha
Distances : 5km and 10km
Join us in the heart of Doha for the HSBC Charity Run for Cancer Research, a race bringing runners of all levels together in support of a meaningful cause.
All registration fees go directly to Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), making every step contribute towards a greater impact.

Race Format
The race is held on a 5 km loop course within the beautiful Al Bidda Park, offering a safe, traffic-free, and scenic running experience.
- 5 KM Run – One lap of the course.
- 10 KM Run – Two laps of the 5K course.

Hydration on Course: The course will feature 2 water stations positioned to serve both 5 km and 10 km runners.

Race Categories
Podium awards will be given to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female runners in the following categories:
Open
Ages (16 -39)
Master
Ages (40+)
Note:
Masters runners who qualify for an Overall podium position will be awarded in the Overall Category only and will be removed from the Masters podium.
- Trophies or medals for podium finishers (Top 3 Male & Female in each category)
- Podium ceremony at the finish area
What Participants Receive
All runners will enjoy:
- Finisher Medal to celebrate your achievement
- Event T-shirt as a keepsake of your run (subject to size availability for late registrations)
- Race Bib
- Refreshments at the finish line to recharge (water and light snacks)

Race Rules & Regulations
To ensure a safe and fair race for everyone, all participants must adhere to the following:
1- Minimum Age:- Minimum age 16+ for both race distances
- Race bibs must be worn on the front of the shirt and clearly visible at all times.
- For safety reasons, the use of headphones is discouraged so runners can hear instructions and be aware of surroundings.
- A general cut-off time (e.g., 1 hour 30 minutes for all distances) may be enforced for safety and traffic management.
- Respect fellow runners, volunteers, and staff.
- Follow instructions from marshals and officials at all times.
- No littering on the course; please use bins and respect the park environment.
- Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Timing & Results:
- The event will use official race timing
- Unofficial live timing may be displayed at the finish line.
- Official results will be published after the event on the race webpage.
Participants will receive personal results for both 5 km and 10 km distances.
Race Venue Information
Parking & Access:
- Location: Al Bidda Park, Doha
- Parking:
- Public parking areas around Al Bidda Park
- Participants are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking
- Exact parking location will be communicated closer to the race
- Public Transport:
- Runners are encouraged to use Doha Metro and nearby stations where possible
- Road Access:
- Some internal park routes may be restricted during the event
- Please follow signage and instructions from event staff and marshals
Facilities & Services:
- Bag Drop:
- A secure bag drop area will be available near the race village.
- Bag tags will be provided with the race bib.
- Toilets:
- Toilets will be available within Al Bidda Park and near the start/finish area.
- Medical Support:
- On-site medical team and first-aid station at the race village.
- Mobile medical support along the course.
- Runners with medical conditions are advised to indicate this on their registration and bib if applicable.
- Hydration & Refreshments:
- 2 water stations on the course
- Water and light snacks at the finish line
